Trinidad Football Association officials have confirmed suspension of the trainer of the football team which participated in the recent CONCACAF series in Costa Rica.

Professionals Everald Cummings and Leroy Deleon and three other players have also been suspended following reports from Chief de Mission Phil Douglin and manager Ernil Paul.

The association also announced that eleven of the players, including the pros and the trainer have altogether been suspended as a result of reports of misconduct during the tour.

Tour officials reported that the trainer set the players against and used abusive language with the manager when recommendations were made to discipline him.

The association has also dropped plans to send a team to Panama for the Central American and Caribbean Games in February.
