THE TRINIDAD VISIT

The visit of the Trinidad team is being arranged on a more ambitious scale than previous football tours; the team will be here for at least three weeks and are scheduled to play ten matches, five of which will be against Jamaica; so the football public has a real treat coming.

Nobody knows just how good Trinidad's standard is today; but the Trinidadians are a very keen lot and have kept the game up steadily all through the war, so we may feel pretty confident that they are probably better than they were last time.

On the last tour they beat Jamaica in all three matches, but only by the odd goal each time, while they were beaten by both Kingston and St. George's Clubs; so that this time with the improvement we can expect from the energetic preparations of the J.F.A. we may well face the issue with some confidence.

In general our forwards are better than they were, our defence not so good.
