J.F.A. Annual Meeting
THE TRINIDAD TOUR
Hie retiring president said he had contemplated relinquishing office before but he had been deterred by his reluctance to hand over to another when the game was in the doldrums. Now, at last, the curtain had been lifted and they had started off already by arranging the Trinidad tour. He would urge every club representative to advise his club that the Trinidadians would be coming here in January or February of next year.
Mr. Judah advised that club players be reminded of the magnificent showing local cricketers had put up against Trinidad's cricket team, also the fine performances of local athletes against the visiting American stars. Local footballers should then be roused to prepare and train hard in order to show Trinidad that the standard of football here was as high as that achieved in the other forms of sport. To do that, Mr. Judah said, the men would have to be physically fit.
Mr. daCosta, after his election said that he had already taken the liberty to seek the assistance for coaching and training purposes of of several experienced gentlemen.
