H. Burnett . . . played a good game of soccer as he will be remembered at outside right out here, for Shamrock, whim he assisted on the previous Thursday to beat Colts by four goals to nil in a Trinidad First League match.

Three other footballers who are know out here helped Shamrock—Frank Ambard in goal, D. Galt at right back, and Willie Payne, still playing at outside-left. Burnett scored one of his side's goals.

John Sutherland also helped his side, United British Oilfields F.C., to gain a win by the same margin over Kern in the Southern Amateur Football League, while Botha Tench's team, the Casuals, and Peter [Prior] Jones' Maple played to a goalless draw in their T.A.F.A. First League Match.

Casuals also drew two all with St. Mary in the same League some days after. The College were leading 2-1, "when C. B. Tench, their great centre-half, playing like a trojan, worked the ball up and centred magnificently for Rodriguez to score and give the Maroons their second equaliser," with a little time to go.
